A PIWIPE edition that boots directly from a USB stick with no operating system required. It permanently wipes dead or OS-less machines and internal system disks that cannot be cleared from within Windows. It uses the same license and credit pool as PIWIPE Windows.

How is it different from the Windows edition?

PIWIPE Windows runs on a working Windows OS to wipe external drives; PIWIPE USB boots the machine with its own OS to wipe the internal system disk (including the Windows drive). Same certificate format, same credit pool — just a different delivery method.

Do I need a separate license?

No. PIWIPE USB is included in your existing subscription and draws from the same credit pool. One license works on both Windows and USB.

Does it require an internet connection?

The wipe runs fully offline. You activate the USB once on an internet-connected Windows machine; the target machine in the field needs no internet. Certificates are written to the USB and synced to the cloud later.

What hardware does it support?

UEFI x86-64 laptops and desktops. SATA/AHCI HDDs and SSDs, and NVMe drives are supported; S.M.A.R.T. diagnostics are read automatically.

Which standards does it apply?

NIST 800-88 (Clear/Purge), DoD 5220.22-M 3-pass, and hardware Secure Erase / NVMe Sanitize. Each wipe produces a tamper-proof PDF certificate with QR verification.

Activate

Plug into Windows, load credits from your account via Activate.bat.

Insert into the target machine and boot from it — the Dashboard opens.
